I’ve come to realize the danger of pretending life is all great and good from the outside and saying so whenever people ask. But that’s the most dangerous place to be. It’s easier to be open and honest no matter the embarrassment or pain. Hiding your feelings, ideas, life from those who care the most about you is ultimately selfish. Others can often learn from your past mistakes and be cautioned against such things. It’s so much more freeing to be honest about everything.
